NewGen Awards are built on fairness, transparency, and respect for photographers and their work.
The following guidelines help ensure a consistent and professional evaluation process for all participants.

Eligibility
NewGen Awards are open to photographers whose work meets the criteria of the selected category.

Submissions
NewGen members may submit up to 20 images at no cost.
Additional submissions may be made in subsequent entry periods where applicable. Each image must align with the category’s theme and technical guidelines.

Judging Process
All submissions are evaluated through a jury-led review process.
Judging criteria include artistic vision, technical execution, storytelling, and originality.

Original Work
Images created during workshops, group shoots, or instructional sessions are not eligible for submission.
If an image is later found to violate this guideline, the submission may be removed from consideration and any recognition revoked.

Submission Finality
Once an entry is submitted, changes cannot be made to the image or category selection.
Submission fees, where applicable, are non-refundable after confirmation.

Review & Classification
NewGen reserves the right to: Disqualify submissions that do not meet eligibility requirements
Reassign entries to a more appropriate category when necessary
These measures are taken to preserve fairness and consistency across all categories.

Copyright & Image Usage
Copyright remains fully with the photographer.
By participating, photographers grant NewGen permission to display submitted images for:

• Awards presentation
• Editorial features
• Promotional materials related to NewGen Awards
• Images will not be sold, licensed to third parties, or used for unrelated commercial purposes.
• If a third party expresses interest in using an image, NewGen will contact the photographer directly for approval.

Promotional Recognition
Recognized photographers agree that NewGen may share awarded images, names, and titles across official NewGen platforms, including the website and social media channels, for promotional and editorial purposes.

This recognition is provided at no additional cost and supports the visibility of awarded work.

Liability
NewGen is not responsible for unauthorized use of images by third parties outside of its platforms.
